On September 28, 2025, we celebrate the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle C). In the Gospel (Luke 16:19–31), Jesus tells the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus.
The rich man had everything he needed, but he ignored Lazarus, a poor man right outside his door. After death, Lazarus was with God, but the rich man was not. Jesus teaches us that we must be kind and care for others, especially those in need.
