A glimpse into our catechism families growing in faith together—sharing meals with prayer, joining online activities, learning about the saints, and cherishing time together as a family rooted in Christ.

Sharing With Friends: Family Time in Action
This week, families came together to celebrate faith and friendship by watching the story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, creating beautiful Saint Studies, and praying together. From bedtime prayers to mealtime blessings, every moment was filled with love and faith. We are so blessed to see our children and their families growing in prayer and joy at home.

Self Portraits
In our first Catechism lesson, "Meeting New Friends," each child engaged a meaningful self-portrait activity. This creative served as a prayerful reflection, helping children recognize that they are in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27). Through their art, they explored their identity, uniqueness, and connections with others, fostering deep observation and self-awareness. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach this activity nurtured confidence and creativity, laying essential groundwork for lifelong learning and spiritual growth.
This simple activity encouraged children to see themselves as beloved by God, to appreciate how each of them was different and special, and to begin forming a respectful community of friends learning together. It was a gentle first step toward building trust, joy, and reverence in their classroom and faith journeys.
